I can see at least 2 Ubuntu logos on the page and it doesn’t make me happy. Do you know that Ubuntu is not recommended by the Free Software Foundation? See
    http://www.gnu.org/distros/free-distros.html

A lot of trouble on GNU/Linux stems from the fact that hardware companies are not making their specs public and so there can’t be Free Software drivers for such devices. It’s a surprising realization that even if windows and macos were to disappear tomorrow from the face of the planet, this situation wouldn’t change as so many unscrupulous Linux distributions come with closed firmware and because the vanilla kernel itself is tainted by closed source blobs. Hi,

I think I can answer on behalf on all of us here, that we are aware of the points you pointed out, still, thank you for them.

As far for the Ubuntu logos, we started this site a year ago and since it was the distro we were all using back then, we thought it made sense to use them. Lot’s has changed however since then, and we are already planning on an update of the site’s theme.

Thank you again for your comment!
